I believe... (I did not take picture below or above)
I believe that you should pack only things that are necessary not things you won't need. I believe this because of something that once happened to me. One time i went on a camping trip. It was in the spring where it was not hot but not cold. The trip was a backpacking trip to Linville Gorge.
At Linville Gorge we went hiking about ten miles to our campsite, it was a tough hike especially carrying all the stuff we needed to stay alive for the night such as tent, food and clothes. This all sound pretty good if you like a good hiking trip, the only problem was that while we were hiking we hiked 5 miles the wrong way to the river. The trail we took that was 5 miles the wrong way, was very steep and had some places with slippery rocks and deep puddles of water. Once we got to the end of that trail and at the river, we realized that we were in the wrong place. At this point I was very relieved that I packed light and only packed what I needed because everything would have been a lot harder. If I did not pack light or only things I really needed then I might have also been thrown off balance when and it might have caused me to fall more. My friends on the other hand, I felt that they packed too much and it was probably a lot harder to hike that steep trail.
When we got to the bottom we took a break at the river and then some of the adults scouted ahead to find where we needed to go because some people were tired. I also forgot to note that as we were going down the wrong trail, I stept into a puddle on the narrow and steep trail. So my shoes and socks were wet and I had to dry them out on the rocks. When the adults came back we went back up that very steep trail that was very easy to slip on. So at that point I was really glad I packed light and only things I needed. When we got closer to the top we passed a really cool area which was a cliff that went straight down to the river and overlooked the gorge and all the trees at that time. I was kind of nervous because I was afraid of heights but I also thought that was really cool and wished I had a camera on me.
When we got to the very top we took a break and some more people scouted ahead to our campsite. When they came back we went down to the campsite as a group. The campsite area was very rocky with some big trees spread out in the area. On the left or right (depending on which way you are facing) were little trees and on the right or left there was the rushing river with rocks in it. A tiny bit further down the river was a small waterfall that flowed with rushing clear and foaming white water. After the waterfall there were rocks sticking out of the water. When we arrive at the campsite we made our tents and then made lunch. I had to carry some of that food for our group. It probably would have been harder to carry if I did not get rid of the stuff that I did not really need. I setup my tent next to that waterfall that I was talking about. I was the closest to the waterfall out of the group that I was with. I was very relieved that we were at the camp site. Later we were on the rocks in the river and climbing on the lower rocky cliffs or ledges for fun. That night we had dinner, hot chocolate, and M&M’s around a campfire we made. Then we went to bed a little later.
The next morning we packed up and made sure we did not leave anything behind. Then we went back up the 10 mile trail to the cars that we had parked. When we got there I was happy and sad the trip was over because the trip was fun but it was also tiring. Then we got in the cars and went home. So this is story is why I believe you shout always pack thing that are only necessary because if you don't you could run into some trouble. Such as that we went the wrong way for 5 miles down that steep trail because if I did not pack as light as I could I would have been a lot more tired and that steep trail and other trails would have been much harder to overcome during my trip at Linville Gorge.

The Homeless issue
Some issues in our society is that we have a problem with homeless people. Homeless people who live on the streets because they don't want to go to a homeless shelter. They live under bridges and sometimes carry around shopping carts to keep all there stuff together. So homeless people also need help such as medical help not only finding a good home for them. Another thing is that by living on the streets they might have more dirty and ragged clothes so there is most likely a less chance for them to get hired to a store or other job. So they will most likely have less money to buy a home or anything else that is necessary or helpful to live a good, healthy life. I am interested in this issue because I want to make the community a better place. Also the community can be bad for business because sometimes people might get a little nervous or scared around homeless people and so it can be not very good for business. So that can effect the stores and the community.
I think that for this problem to be solved there need to be more organizations to help loan money to the homeless that will be carefully watched to help them either get the right medications for any medical issues and or a home until they get what the need to start and a job were they can repay them later unless they can because of a medical condition. Then they can live on their own or with help and live a happy, good, and healthy life. People should really care about this issue so they can make the community a better place for everyone no matter who including homeless people.
